The Federal Trade Commission requires that we disclose the nature of any advertising as well as the manufacturer or seller relationship of any product(s) that we may endorse on the site. As such, here are our policies for any such endorsements:
1. This is a collective blog written by a variety of individuals. When we post content written by others, we’ll note it as such. Sometimes we will edit the posts to ensure they meet our standards.
2. We participate in various forms of advertising, including Google Adsense, Amazon Affiliates, Linkshare, and Commission Junction. Additionally, we have an advertising program that is available to interested parties, but will be selective in our advertisers to be sure they fit with our brand. Any of these earnings help keep our site going as there is a considerable time and effort put into maintaining it and your support is appreciated!
3. At this time, we don’t accept payment for product reviews, nor do we plan on doing that in the future. But hey, we’ll keep you posted if it changes and be upfront about it. We will accept products to try out free-of-charge from manufacturers and/or retailers for the purpose of conducting reviews. If they aren’t suitable for our audience, we’ll let you know. If we do accept free product for the review, we’ll let you know as well.
4. Though we may get free products to try out, we won’t let that influence our reviews. They will be honest, direct, thorough and objective.
